So after the hectic Christmas period the English premier league table is finally taking a familiar look. Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal all shared the top spot briefly over the festive period. Liverpool, in my opinion, are unlucky to fall down the league after being impressive in defeat away at Arsenal and Man City. Man Utd keep churning out victories and are moving up the form table but the defending away at Hull was very poor and will undoubtedly get punished by more clinical attacks in the future. They host Spurs who i think may have a goal in them.

At the other end of the form table Aston Villa, West Brom and West Ham prop up the rest of the league. Villa face a tough test away at much improved Sunderland, West Brom entertain a spirited Newcastle and West Ham travel to Fulham.
